Luxury Fashion Branding
We create and develop premium and luxury fashion brands.
In fashion, the brand sets the level of the house. It shapes what the clothes mean, what can credibly carry the name, what people expect to pay and who wants to be associated with it.
We define the position, identity and recognisable codes of the brand, then carry them through the collection, the range and pricing, how it is styled and presented, where it is sold, who represents it and how the client is treated.
New labels. Rebrands. Premiumisation. International growth.
The Case For Luxury Fashion Branding
Whether something is perceived as luxury depends on more than the product itself.
A 2026 study across seven experiments found that logo design alone could change perceived luxuriousness. More complex logos increased perceptions of luxury largely because consumers associated them with greater craftsmanship. The effect appeared with real fashion brands as well as experimental ones.
But there is no single visual formula for luxury. Research published in the Journal of Marketing found that different luxury consumers responded differently to brand prominence. Wealthy consumers with a low need for status were prepared to pay more for quieter products recognisable mainly to people in the know, while more status-conscious consumers preferred more visible signals.
More branding is not necessarily better branding. Three experiments across Chinese, Turkish and British consumers found that prominent luxury branding could reduce perceptions of authenticity and coolness, particularly among people with a strong connection to the brand.
And the effect extends well beyond logos. A systematic review of 252 empirical studies found that the intangible parts of luxury brands, including who uses them, their personality and values, the context in which they are bought, and their heritage, play important roles in how consumers interpret and use luxury brands.
Research with 411 luxury-fashion customers also found that brand experience affected brand equity, with perceived authenticity playing a central role in that relationship.
In luxury fashion, branding does not simply sit around the product. It changes how the product is perceived.
